GEZE at the BAU 2023: sustainable, digital, smart
The BAU 2023, the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials, and systems, will be opening its doors in Munich from 17 to 22 April. As a specialist for modern door, window and safety technology, GEZE will be exhibiting innovative products, system solutions and services at the exhibition, and presenting itself as an experienced, competent partner for architects and planners, operators and installation companies. The exhibition booth, which will be around 500 square metres in size and located in Hall B1, Stand 538-539, will be staged under the motto of “Liveable buildings: digital, sustainable, smart”.
After a four-year break, we are very glad this gathering, which is so important for the construction industry, can finally be held once again live and in person. For us, the BAU is more than just a chance to help people experience our innovations. It is also an outstanding opportunity to maintain personal relationships with customers and partners, talk to them about trends and developments, and learn what moves them and what they need from us through direct discussions.
Tomislav Jagar, Chief Officer Product Strategy & Sales at GEZESmart and sustainable solutions
GEZE's central focus is on developing liveable buildings. In line with this year’s BAU and its main themes, therefore, the company's trade fair presentation will focus on its smart and sustainable solutions for forward-thinking construction.

“One of our highlights at the BAU exhibition will be myGEZE Control, our next-generation networking solution” says Jörg Willmann, Head of Product Management and International Key Account Management. With the new, modular platform, GEZE is able to integrate door, window and safety technology into the many different areas of a building management system. The system uses the open BACnet standard to do so. Because of this, automated processes in the building and central monitoring make using the property more convenient and safer. In addition, operation of the entire building can also be energy-optimised. Architects, planners and system integrators can use the standardised BACnet project management completely independently of service providers and the building management product used. myGEZE Control can be integrated into building management systems, hazard management and CAFM systems from any manufacturer. In addition, stand-alone visualisation solutions for GEZE product systems are made possible by the myGEZE Visu software option.
In addition to the new networking solution, GEZE will be exhibiting other new products that deliver high quality in a modern design:
- Revo.PRIME: The automatic revolving door system with low canopy height and narrow profiles stands out with forward-thinking technology for more sustainability.
- F 1200+: The window drive is designed, among other things, for large and heavy turn-and-tilt and bottom-hung windows up to 200 kg leaf weight. The strong, yet very quiet drive can be integrated easily into automated control concepts using the IQ box KNX.
- TS 5000 SoftClose: This variant of the best-selling GEZE TS 5000 can be used anywhere a door needs to be closed securely, but with a minimal noise level. The new door closer is also particularly fast and easy to install.
Responsible, sustainable action for a secure future
At GEZE, the issue of sustainability is firmly anchored within our company, and guides all of our thoughts and actions. “Our Sustainability Management is based on three pillars: regional responsibility, climate and environment, and sustainability along the product life cycle. Our products are not the only thing that contribute to sustainable, liveable buildings – handling natural resources responsibly is also an important component. Therefore, our exhibition stand has been designed to be as sustainable as possible. We use reusable system elements, as well as recyclable and certified materials. We use rental equipment whenever possible”, says Angela Staiber, Head of Marketing & Data Management.
You can find GEZE in Hall B1, Stand 538 - 539 at the Messe München from 17 to 22 April.
